Welcome to my Website. I have always been an Artist. My earliest memories were about creating, either drawing, painting or constructing items to decorate my world. After obtaining an art degree in college, I thought I needed to get a “real” job and for many, many years, I worked in the public sector. But my creative side always called out to be heard. One day, while I was in the midst of an MBA program, I wandered into a local bead store, and a new passion began. Though I had always loved beads and jewelry, it had never been a focus of my creativity. When I discovered Metal Clay in 2000, I knew I have found a medium I could truly love.
My recent work is mainly in Metal Clays. While beads and beadwork are still my first love, I like to venture into other art forms, such a enameling, glass fusing, polymer clay and of course traditional metalsmithing techniques. These along with mixed media designs and book making keep me inspired and trying new things. I never know what is around the next corner.
