Welcome to blog post number 1. Since this website and blog are new to me, I am not really sure where to start. I have been an artist/crafter all my life. some of my early memories are of making things and always wanting to try the latest craft or art project. Even today, I feel the “squirrel” instinct take over and I am off on the new project.
About 20 years ago, I started working with Metal Clay and it has been one of my favorite mediums since. I still do some traditional metalsmithing, beadwork, enameling and glass fusing, though I always return to Metal Clay.
If you are reading this blog, I have a question for you. Do you work with Metal Clay? If so, which type or style do you like to use? What do you like to make?
In future blogs, I will talk about some of my favorite teachers and artists. Also all of the jewelry and metal resources I like.
